What My Dream from God Means for You

I had a dream last night that God told me to share with all of you. While this dream has something to do with my own personal journey it also applies to all of those who are dedicated to walking fully in the Spirit and are called according to God’s purpose.

THE DREAM

In my dream I was walking around talking about the fulfillment of my mission & dreams, talking with God about them. My dream was something that I felt was no longer achievable because I was too old compared to those that I was going up against and I had too many scars from life. Nevertheless, I had declared my dream to God and as soon as that took place, I was sent off immediately to prepare for the mission and dreams.

Now during the time of preparation, the pressure against my mission and dream was built up in such a way that it was starting to cost me the worldly comforts & perceived needs that I had grown accustomed to. I lost my source of income and many of the other comforts of life that we have all become accustomed to (like a place to live of my own). Even some of my loved ones began to question whether or not I should continue on this mission because of how much it was costing and how much it appeared that the odds were stacked against success.

The only thing that I had remaining after the time of preparation were the tools I would need to fulfill my mission. Everything else was stripped away.

After the time of preparation, I was called into the office of Jesus to discuss the next steps. Jesus asked me, where is it that you would like to go to fulfill your dream. The problem was, I had seen how much it had already cost me, and I started to believe the seeds that the enemy had planted about it not being possible and so I said that I no longer wanted to fulfill it because of how defeated I had felt from the journey. I shared these things with Jesus and did not keep them from Him.

Jesus replied to me, “Last week you declared your dream to me and now you don’t want to go?”

Hearing the voice of Jesus, and the way that He said it, and the understanding of who Jesus was and what He had accomplished, just being in the presence of Jesus gave my the confidence that I had lost when I was doing it seemingly on my own. Just getting in God’s presence gave me courage and strength.

Jesus never mentioned my previous discouragement again, instead, he shared with me the place he had for me that would be perfect for me to go based on all of the conditions that He knew I was up against and how He felt I would be able to fit in nicely there. He shared to options with me one was my dream location – something that I never felt that I’d ever have the opportunity to obtain, and another place that was also good, but not what I had imagined.

He called to memory a good person he had introduced me to previously. This would be whom He would use to get a foot in the door at this location. Being filled with the strength and courage of God, I agreed with God on my dream and immediately went to my truck which was my transportation and had all of the tools that I would need to get there to finish the mission.

This conversation with God had given me the perspective to see that although everything else was stripped away from me, God left me with everything I would need to fulfill my dream and mission.

Immediately as I stepped out further in faith & agreement with God to work on fulfilling my dream and mission, the enemy sent someone to try to take my truck from me: a repo-man.

As I got into my truck, the repo man said “this isn’t yours anymore and started trying to put a boot on my tire so that I wouldn’t be able to move. But Jesus himself came out and fought the man and told me as he was fighting for me, “Go, gather the rest of your things and begin the journey to fulfill your mission & dreams.” He defeated the enemy for a time so that I could escape.

I got back home to pack up my belongings and everything I had remaining for the journey ahead. Jesus and his angels were there this time, watching over the property to guard over me while I prepared to leave.

As I was packing, the angels of God sent warning that the enemy was back, and this time he had weapons and two fierce dogs with him that looked more like wild beasts to attack me personally before I could get to the truck. But God’s angels and I fought and slayed the beasts so that we were free.

After this battle, the enemy himself showed up after we defeated his fierce beasts and he overcame the angels and arrested me and brought me back into the house in order to kill me.

He spoke death over my dream and was about to kill me. I sat there feeling fully defeated but never being fully defeated. All of a sudden, Jesus came in with a hammer and surprised the enemy and struck him with a great blow that wasn’t expected. It appeared to take the life out of the enemy. He stumbled towards me and was about to fall over completely when I woke up because it was time for me to get ready for the day so that I could fulfill the mission that God has me working on now.

The meaning of The Dream for You

God told me to tell you that for some of you who are reading this message, I don’t say all of you because not everyone who will read this is actively working towards their God given purpose. This is for those who have had the faith to step out on the Word of God, based on the whispers of the Holy Spirit to you about what your mission in life and your purpose are.

Stand firm on the promise that God gave you. I know the odds may feel like they are stacked up against you, I know it hurts, I know others may doubt you and you may even doubt yourself – but take heart because we know this:

God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

Numbers 23:19 NKJV

Just because no one else understands your dream does not mean God didn’t promise you that He would fulfill it. There is nothing that God will not do for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose – nothing.

Just because it feels like you’re losing doesn’t mean you’re losing. The relationships you’ve lost, the things that you’ve lost, the worldly comfort that you’ve lost – these things are being stripped away intentionally by God so that what you have is exactly what you need to fulfill your mission.

God needs you lean, fierce, and strong. The only way to produce the kind of strength that God needs from you in this season and for the rest of your life is to go through the fire of perseverance and refinement. You went in like a dirty clump of earth but you will come out like a shining gold nugget when God has finished His work in you.

Nothing shall by any means harm you. When things get scary, God is right there and will give you exactly the help you need at exactly the right time to overcome and continue on your mission.

You were born for a purpose. God’s word for your life and over your life will not return to Him void. That means that until you have fulfilled your God given purpose all you need to do is keep moving forward and standing on the promises of God and God’s supernatural strength and provision will provide you with what you need to finish the mission.

God is on the throne and God is always right on time. Don’t ever give up. I know you might think this will kill you – but it won’t. I know you’re tired, I know you’re confused, but you just have to KEEP GOING. The only way that the enemy wins this battle is if you stop moving forward to fulfill the promise of the high calling that God has put on your life.

Don’t give up, don’t ever give up. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you. This is your time, this is your moment. Don’t compromise your beliefs, don’t compromise on God’s promise to you – STAND FIRM and fulfill your God given purpose.

Prayer for You

God in Heaven, thank you for your refiners fire. Thank you for your Holy Spirit that guides us into all truth and power. Thank you for your promise. Thank you that you are not a man that you should lie and that what you say you will bring to fruition.

Give us your strength, your wisdom, your perseverance, your discernment and your clarity so that we may fulfill your will without compromise. We thank you for everything you have already done and for everything you’re already working on fulfilling as we march towards our purpose & the fulfillment of your promise.

Help us to turn to you when we feel discouraged and fill us up fully with your Holy Spirit so that we may have your peace and guidance.

Don’t let us give up. Don’t even make it an option for us so that we can do all that we can to help manifest your Kingdom on the Earth as it is in Heaven. It is in the Mighty Name of Jesus I pray and ask you these things. I receive it done by faith and thank you for your blessings. In Jesus name. Amen.

A CALL TO THOSE WHO HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED THE HOLY SPIRIT OR JESUS AS LORD AND SAVIOR.

If you have not yet given your life over to God, but this article has brought you to that place, I encourage you to make that decision today. The harvest is ripe but the workers are few, we need your help.

If this is a decision you’re ready to make today, all you need to do is start with this simple prayer:

“God in heaven, I need you.

I repent of doing things my own way and ask that you would forgive me today.

I believe that your son Jesus died, and he rose from the grave, for the forgiveness of my sins and I ask that you would cover me with the blood of Jesus for the forgiveness of my sins.

Today, I am committing the rest of my life to following your way, that you revealed through your son Jesus. Father please come into my life, renew my spirit, and teach me your ways so that I may walk with you in relationship. Please Father, through my repentance, I ask that you would count me worthy to receive your Holy Spirit so that I can be led fully by you.

Holy Spirit, please direct the steps of my path and lead me into all truth.

Not only for the promise of eternal salvation, but to bring your Kingdom glory on earth through my life which you have given me.

Thank you Father for creating a way, thank you for your love.

I ask this of you in Jesus’ name – Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer today, please send us a note below. We’d like to rejoice with you, pray for you, and see if there is anything that I can do to help you on your journey.

God Bless!
